		<description>Good for you all Kristy.  We have discussed the whole butchering thing, however, our neighbor 1/2 mile away is a butcher and completely set up for it.  We have just decided we will take full advantage for as long as he lives by us.

I get too attached to our animals.  I get such a sick feeling the days leading up to the sale.  Then you have the days leading up to butcher, wow.  If we have to start butchering lambs ourselves you can just forget it.  

Chickens are one thing, but lambs are something I can imagine.  My husband is also a softy when it comes to animals, so there is no letting him bare the burden.  Maybe someday...

I think it&#039;s awesome you all did it yourselves.  What an empowering feeling to know you can take care of yourself and your family.</description>
